Recipe

Yesterday was the Henrique's birthday and I decided do make a dinner for him and for his relatives and parents that came to my place to give him "a happy birthday!!".
Actually, I hate cooking but, as was a special day, I looked up a recipe in the Ana Maria's site and I found this one. I never imagine that I could cook something so delicious... There's anything left over from tonight.
So, here we go:

Recipe of Chicken Bobó

Ingredientes:
  • 3 kg of cassava;
  • 2 sliced onions;
  • 300 g of tomatoes' cream;
  • 100 g of catchup;
  • 2 kg of picked chicken meat cooked;
  • 1 cup of olive oil;
  • 200 g of olive;
  • 5 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 talespoons of freshly ground black pepper;
  • 5 teaspoons of salt;
  • 5 cups of water.
First, cook tha cassava with some salt in a pressure cooker over high heat for about 30 minutes until it's soft. Then, when the cassava will be warm, blend it, but remember to blend it little by little adding some water. Not much! Reserve.
Take a pan and cook the chicken meat with no salt for about 30 minutes, too. After that, put it into a food processor to cut it in many small pieces of fibers' meat. Reserve.
In another pan, add the onions, the colves of garlic, the black pepper and the olive oil. Cook it for 5 minutes. Now, add the tomatoes' cream, the catchup and the olive.
Before adding the cassava's cream , put the picked chicken meat that had already been cooked into the pan for a few minutes to get the seasoning. After that, add the cassava's cream and bring it to a boil. If is necessary, add a bit of water (if the sauce's too heavy) or let it boil a few minutes to make the water evaporate (if it's too watery). The mixture should be like a bit heavy sauce. test the seasoning and add more salt or pepper if you want. The bobó should have a light orange color.

Serve the bobó with plain white fluffy rice, salad and french fries.

Enjoy yourselves...

Lots of love!
